What LawnPayday is

LawnPayday helps homeowners estimate water-utility rebates for replacing grass with water-wise landscaping and connects them with independent landscapers.

We are not a landscaper, a water utility, or a government agency, and we are not affiliated with any utility whose rebate we describe. Landscapers listed on LawnPayday are independent businesses, not our employees or agents.

Estimates are estimates

Rebate amounts, costs, water use and savings shown on the site are estimates based on published program rules and our assumptions. They are not offers, quotes or guarantees.

Your utility decides whether you qualify and how much you receive. Program rules and funding can change at any time. Always read the official rules and get your utility's pre-approval before removing any grass.

Choosing and hiring a landscaper

We only send your request to the landscapers you choose (or, if you ask us to pick, the best match we select). Any contract for work is between you and the landscaper.

We check licenses, insurance and references before listing a landscaper, but we don't guarantee their work, pricing or timeliness. Check their current license and insurance yourself before signing.

Landscapers pay LawnPayday a commission on jobs completed through the site. Homeowners never pay LawnPayday a fee.

Your responsibilities

Give accurate information, use the site only for your own property or with the owner's permission, and don't misuse the site (spam, scraping, or attempts to break it).

Limits of liability

The site is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, LawnPayday isn't liable for rebate decisions, landscaper work, or losses from relying on estimates. [Lawyer to complete: liability cap, governing law (New Mexico), dispute resolution.]
