Landscaper Agreement

Version draft-2026-10-22

The terms for landscapers listed on LawnPayday. Free to join, free leads, and you only pay when a job is done.

Listing and vetting

To be listed you must hold a current New Mexico contractor license for the work you do, carry general liability insurance, and keep both current. We may ask for references or project photos and may decline or remove any listing.

You'll tell us within 7 days if your license or insurance lapses. Expired documents pause your leads until they're updated.

Leads

Leads are free. You only receive homeowners who chose you (or asked us to pick the best match). We never sell the same lead to a crowd.

Contact each homeowner within 24 hours and tap "I contacted them" in the lead email. Response time affects how often you're matched.

Don't share or resell homeowner information, and only contact homeowners about the project they requested.

Commission

You pay LawnPayday a commission of 8% of the final job price on each job with a homeowner who came through LawnPayday. Founding pros (the first 20) pay 5% for their first year.

Report the final job price when the job is complete. We'll also confirm completion with the homeowner and through the rebate process.

[Commission rate not final — confirm before publishing.]

Payment terms

We invoice through Stripe when a job is marked complete. Invoices are due within 15 days.

If an invoice is unpaid 30 days after it's issued, new leads are paused until it's paid. Repeated non-payment ends your listing.

Jobs outside the site

Commission is owed on any job you do for a LawnPayday homeowner within 12 months of receiving their lead, whether or not the job is booked through the site. This includes later phases and other work at the same property.

Your work

You're an independent business. You set your prices, sign your own contract with the homeowner, and are responsible for your work, permits, warranties and compliance with the utility's rebate rules.

Don't promise homeowners a rebate amount or approval; the utility decides.

Ending the agreement

Either side can end this agreement with written notice to hello@lawnpayday.com. Commissions on jobs already started, and on homeowners received in the 12 months before ending, are still owed. [Lawyer to complete: governing law, disputes, liability.]
